Great food, good prices, very friendly people and environment

Sushi town is a little hole in the wall with possibly the best sushi in Ann Arbor. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Even getting a carry out they make sure you have what you need. I definitely recommend to anyone that is more concerned about the actual food than the look and ambiance of the establishment. Added bonus: Theres a hardware store connected to the building. So if you need a wrench or hammer it's one stop shopping!!!

Small restaurant with delicious food. Sushi town is a wonderful hole in the wall. I especially like the specialty rolls, like the sushi town, dragon, and Alaskan. The wait time was quite long however, so you should call ahead. Also, carry out seems like a good bet too!

Best sushi I've ever had, and nicest people I've ever encountered in a restaurant. They're always very, very sweet. It's a nice environment to sit down and eat, but also located right next to a little park with a picnic table. The rolls are big and prices are very low! I LOVE this place! Highly recommend it!

Absolutely delicious. The wait is sometimes a little long but that's because they are super busy and it's worth the wait.

This is my favorite sushi place in Ann Arbor. It’s family owned and really amazing. The spicy maki combo is my favorite! They’re great at what they do, and their soup has cured a cold for me so many times. Great people, great place ❤️❤️❤️

I think Sushi Town has the best sushi in Ann Arbor and the staff are very friendly. This place is so popular for dinner that the wait time is usually around 45mins.

It is mostly a take out place, but it has the best sushi in town. I find the fish to always be fresh and flavorful. New York roll is a personal favorite.

Don't let the adjacent hardware store scare you off! The sushi is great and quick to deliver. The dancing eel was great and the Dragon roll was top notch. I have no reservations coming back for an encore

Fantastic sushi. I hesitated to try this place for years because of the location, but don’t let the hardware store fool you. If there’s such a thing as a sushi dive, this is it. The sushi is very fresh, the miso soup is amazing and the staff are wonderful. So generous and kind. The wait time even on a busy Friday night is usually less than 30 min. Try some of the speciality rolls and or even create your own! The spicy California roll, snowman and sushi town are some of the best I’ve tried. Prices are great and the quality is on par with other sushi restaurants downtown.

My Favorite Sushi Restaurant in the AreaI've been a regular customer here since they opened ten or more years ago and probably eat here once a month or so, on average. I've never had anything but outstanding service and the sushi is great. For the price, I think it's the best value in the area, by far. You may be able to find sushi that is more gourmet, but nowhere near the price-point of Sushi Town. It's quality sushi at an amazing price and service from folks that are truly kind and grateful people. Sushi Town is always my go-to when I just want great sushi at a great price.

This spot never fails to impress. They have great dishes for reasonable pricing, there no long wait even when they are packed.

A great place to stop after my Ortho appt. when rush hour traffic hits. Delishious food and nice people. I completely reccomend this place, it never seems too busy either. It has a huge selection with fair prices. Not to mention the adorable decorations! Amazing!

Great place. The cuts of sashimi were thick and really tasty; practically melts in your mouth. Staff was very friendly too. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Sushi inside a very non-descript facade. In fact, don't let the facade fool you, don't judge a book by it's cover. Prices are very reasonable too. Close to UMich campus. From the road, it appears as if this is a take out place but there's a fairly big hall and at least 10 tables inside for seating. And for it's run down appearance (and that of it's surroundings), the place is VERY clean. Yes, including the bathroom!

THE definition of amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant. In a town full of sushi places, this one stands out as being one of the tastiest, no-nonsense places out there. They don't have to impress with crazy visuals or gimmicky rolls - all of their rolls are just masterfully crafted and straight up delicious. For example, their tamago rolls are sooo good. That's literally just egg, rice, and seaweed. AND IT"S AMAZING. By the transitive property, everything else on their menu is also amazing. Oh, and everyone there is super super nice and friendly which is the icing on top, or maybe the masago on top ;) 10/10 would tamaGO again

If you want great sushi in Ann Arbor, this is the place to go. It is a true hidden gem. While it might not look like much, it’s the place to go. The staff are all really friendly and the food is usually done fairly quick. If you want carry out, make sure you order ahead. The miso soup and house salad are awesome too.

Sometimes, the smallest hole-in-the-wall sushi restaurants are the best. This stands true!I’ve never had such delicious sushi OR miso soup anywhere in Ann Arbor. I’m a huge sushi person so I had to take a shot with Sushi Town. Not disappointed!!! Absolutely delicious food and gorgeous presentation. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mom and pop sushi at its finest. Don't expect fancy but do expect good, fresh, fast, and friendly.

So friendly and quick service! Gave me complimentary miso soup and bottled water for take out. Soup was much more flavorful than some of the more well known restaurants in town.

Best sushi in town! Always very fresh. The owners are the best and they prepare the sushi, keeping in consistently great! I have had sushi in top places in NYC and they did not compare with Sushi Town. I highly, highly recommends this family owned business!
